Frequently asked QUESTIONS

  • We provide occupational therapy, lactation consulting, and bodywork services in Central Ohio. We offer in-clinic sessions in Bexley, OH (new Lancaster clinic location coming soon!). Home visits are also available by request in the Fairfield and Franklin County areas depending on location and may be subject to an additional travel fee.

  • We are an out-of-network provider for all major insurance companies. We require a refundable deposit to secure your appointment and the remaining visit fee is due at the time of service. We can provide a receipt of services (superbill) upon request with all the necessary information to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. Reimbursement is subject to each individual’s insurance plan and does not guarantee payment in full. We recommend verifying your out-of-network coverage for occupational therapy services prior to your appointment if reimbursement is desired. We accept all major credit/debit cards, cash, check, or HSA/FSA cards for payment.

  • Via direct access in Ohio, a doctor’s referral is not required for occupational therapy services. Some insurance companies may require a doctor’s referral for reimbursement. We are happy to request a referral from your child’s doctor as well as communicate with them throughout our treatment plan to keep them updated on progress.

  • We provide customized, personalized care plans for each client based on their individual needs and goals. A free consultation will allow you to learn more about our services and schedule a comprehensive evaluation, if desired. At the evaluation, a full medical history will be gathered as well as assessment of your child to determine personalized goals. We will then come up with a plan for follow up treatment as needed based on what makes sense for your child and your family. A variety of techniques and strategies can be used to achieve your desired outcomes based on Dr. Sheridan’s background and training.

  • All sessions allow up to a full hour to ensure ample time for hands-on therapy, education, and questions.

  • As a small business that operates by reserving your appointment time solely for you, we kindly request that if you need to cancel your scheduled appointment, you contact us at least 24 hours ahead of time so we have the opportunity to offer that time slot to someone else. Appointments cancelled between 24 hours and 1 hour before appointment start time will result in forfeit of your deposit. Cancellations within 1 hour of appointment start time or no-shows will be charged 100% of the scheduled service.
